Jesi Stracham "I wasn't ready for wings so god gave me wheels instead”

Jesi Stracham - “I wasn't ready for wings so God gave me wheels instead.”
Driven by a passion to inspire the world.

Justified was introduced to Jesi in October 2015 via MX Sponsor’s rider program.

Jesi’s story began a little over 9 months ago when a motorcycle accident involving a car left her paralyzed from the chest down.

Following the accident Jesi spent 3 months in a N.C. hospital where she experienced a full range of emotions, along with a strong desire to resume her active lifestyle. What she did not expect was to find her purpose.

“Grab life, there is no tragedy that can stop you.” “The cards you are dealt are what they are, you have a choice to fold them or go all in.” “I choose to go all in!”

Jesi will tell you she is thankful for the hand she was dealt, expressing with great conviction, that adversity and challenges can shape your future. It is with this same conviction that Jesi intends on making a difference in peoples lives through encouragement and leading by example.

A big opportunity presented itself through Polaris only 2 months following the accident. The team at Polaris provided 11 media outlets with the Polaris “ACE” and asked, “What can the ACE do for you.” With that challenge in hand UTV Scene’s John Pellen, Racer Tech and many other organizations came together customizing the Polaris ACE specifically to Jesi’s height, weight and need for hand- controlled function. It was an awesome opportunity to not only race again but Jesi saw it as an additional platform to reach multiple demographics.

Jesi created Project InspirACEtion as part of the Polaris ACE challenge. Project InspirACEtion encompasses the passion Jesi has for life and a message that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

Justified began in 2012 as a collaboration of family, friend and athletes who came together with an undeniable passion to live life to the absolute fullest. Woven throughout the culture of Justified is the desire to celebrate human achievement, inspire our youth with a positive message, provide support through our sponsorship program and create a modern lifestyle brand reflecting today’s generation. Justified is proud to be partnered with Jesi, working together to socialize the work she is doing to educate, inspire and touch people’s lives.

Jesi has plans to race the 2016 GNCC series and will be representing N.C. in the Ms. Wheelchair USA on April 2, 2016. Everyone here at Justified could not be more excited to be along side her for the journey.

Justified is proud to be partnering with Urban Street Angels and the 8 West USA project to bring meaningful change within the homeless youth community. The efforts to implement a sustainable solution and transition these young men and women off the streets and intergrate them back into the work force is a big undertaking but with support all things are possible.
